Forbidden City, Beijing

Strange, small unfinished Palace of Prolonging Happiness (Yanxigong) within the Forbidden City (Imperial Palace), Beijing, China, 2006. Destroyed by fire in the early/mid 1800's it was the home of consorts and concubines during the Ming and the Qing dynasties. It remains a ruin.
